2. Click on More and Move to Media Center.
3. Click on the type of material you are looking for -- Links for encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, etc. and Alexandria Card Catalog for books

Another good source is ELM (Electronic Library for Minnesota) found on the PCHS Media Center page.
You can also try typing in Google Scholar. It is a better search engine for research than Google.

4. For the magazine data base
- Click on Ebscohost.
- Click on Ebscohost Web.
- Click on Ebscohost ERIC/Academic Search Premier/MasterFILE Premier/EBSCO MegaFILE
- Make sure to click on Full Text on your next screen.
- Type in your topic for a search.
- When given a list of articles, hit PDF full text if given the option.
- Scan article, see if it is helpful, and print out or save as a pdf in a project folder. (A note about printing things out -- some powers-that-be do not like printing out entire articles, so do it sparingly.)
- Hit the citation button to get the MLA citation and copy to your works cited page. Make sure you check it for errors as EBSCO often makes small mistakes.
